The body responsible for organisation and conduction of examinations for Students at the University’s Computer Based Test, CBT Centre, the Academic Advancement Committee has yesterday comfirmed Monday 9th December as the date the Continue Assessment test, CA, will commence for the 2019/2020 Hammattan semester.
The confirmation was made in response to the leaked time table purportedly released by the committee. According to the statement from the body, students have been advised to be at alert and get prepared for.the coming tests as efforts are in high gear to ensure hitch free exercises.
The statement reads: “We are using this medium to inform all students that the CBT CA has been proposed to hold on the 9th of December, 2019. All students should be at alert and well prepared for the tests as it is holding as proposed.
“With the view of reducing the congestion and clumsiness at the CBT area, the CA and examinations will be conducted on ‘an hourly basis’. Each department will have a specific hour to conduct their CA or examination for a particular course meaning that different departments will have different timings for a course offered together.
“We are using this means to implore all students to be time conscious and punctual as no students will be allowed to write any test or examination if the time stipulated for their departments has passed. Be at the centre only during the time stipulated for your department as a course can be done for different hours for different departments.
“We will also use this medium to plead to all students to be calm and be law abiding as there should not be any case of shunting or causing any form of disorderliness.
“We wish all students success and good luck as the CA will commence next week.”
