Students should use ASUU Strike to Engage in Beneficial Dealings.

It’s not longer news that the ASUU declared a nation wide strike since over a month ago, and that has made the higher institution students, especially those in the government-owned institutions to sit home forcefully.

However, students should not just use this rare opportunity of the ASUU strike to just sit home doing nothing, they should strive in using the opportunity to do something that will be a great benefit to them after the strike, be it learning a trade or getting a job that will be a benefit to them at the end.

And it is of great importance to also advice students to use this scarce opportunity to be closer to God than ever before, because He’s the only solution to man’s problem, we have to move very close to Him for things to move smoothly and effectively.

Nevertheless, we should not also cease to use this great time and rare opportunity to learn some other efficient and magnificent things like learning the act of writing, singing, photography and creative designs as the case may be.
In addition, we can also learn trades like barbing ,bag making, aluminum, shoe making, catering and some other relevant trade, just to make sure we are not just staying at home.

However, they have been some cases I evidently told my colleagues this, in which they solidly agreed with me, and now most of us are now fixed into our respective vocation of learning and job.

Moreover, the ASUU Strike appears to be a consequential situation for we as students. But whatever situation we find ourselves in, we just have to be grateful.

Though in a real sense, we ought to currently be in our citadel of knowledge exploring, studying and learning , but the obnoxious occurrence had deterred us from that great opportunity, and that’s the major reason we have to try our best to just engage into some beneficial dealings before the strike is being called off.

Moreover, majority of the Nigerian students that are home are evidently tired of just sitting at home doing nothing or sitting at home, and not making money, even in an inch. And that’s one the basic reasons why we have to just strive in engaging in a trade, if possible trades as the case may be. We can learn and feature into countless trades as said earlier , in which that will even be a great benefit for us at the point of our resumption in School.

For an example, if we learn photography or bag making as a trade, we can evidently or prudently establish or set up a shop for ourselves by the time of resumption, it might be off campus or on campus as the case may be, and that will even fetch little amount of money for us to do some other necessary things on our own without even troubling our parents, who are always struggling for us just to survive and be great in School .

it’s hereby imperative and significant for us to find things to do during this period of time, as the ASUU strike might not be called off and linger till middle of the year 2022, June.

Ends.
