Abdus-Salam Abdul-Qoyyum Olayinka and Adedimeji Quayyim Abdul-Hafeez
The Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin has been thrown into an atmosphere of gloom as it lost one of its fresh graduates on Thursday, 7th of November, 2019, exactly fifteen days after his convocation ceremony on the 23rd of October, 2019.
The deceased, Mr. Yusuf Muhammad Adnan, who was loved by all and sundry, had an accident earlier this week and was rushed to the hospital after which an operation was carried to alleviate his pains and injuries. However, LSS Press got wind of his death in the late hours of Thursday.
Mr. Adnan was buried in the early hours of Friday, 8th of November, 2019 at the Muslim Cemetery, along Yidi Road, Ilorin. Also, a special prayer was organized in his honour at the Faculty of Law Mosque, Unilorin. The prayer was led by a lecturer in the Department of Jurisprudence in the Faculty, Dr. Mrs. Barakat Raji.
The deceased was described by colleagues as a calm, dedicated and cheerful individual who was committed to the success of others. The former President of the LSS, Mr. Abdul-Hakeem Ago, mourned and stated that Mr. Adnan was one of the individuals committed to ensure that busaries are secured for Law graduates in Kwara State.
