Former SU Presidential aspirant, JACKSON becomes Blazing Stars FC coach

Blazing Stars, a registered football club under the Students Union football league (Unilorin league), has appointed ex-presidential aspirant Jimoh Toheeb Mayowa commonly known as Jackson as its new coach.

The club took to the twitter via its handle @FBlazingstars on the 19th of May, 2021 to announce the appointment of the new coach.

“Update 🔥🔥🔥 We announced official signing of coach Jackson for the upcoming season.”

In an interview with the newly appointed coach, he mentioned that the appointment feels good to him. “I look forward to every adventure, and that to me is another one that I am willing to explore with utmost commitment”, he added.

The team, Blazing stars FC, finished among the top 4 in the previous season of the Unilorin league.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the football club, Mr Osheidu Solomon Segun has declined comment on the development.

Reaching out him, for the reason best known to him, Osheidu said it was not in his character to give audience to the press. “I dont give audience to the press”, he replied UCJ-UNILORIN reporter in a phone conversation.
