The veteran artist of the 80s and 90s, Majek Fashek have been confirmed to be getting better by his manager, Uzoma in an interview with Saturday Beats.
It should be recollected that last week, Uzoma announced the music maestro being sick and hospitalized in a hospital in London and also in need of finances.
While with Saturday beats however, Uzoma did not state the nature of Fashek’s sickness but it was said that the business mogul, Femi Otedola had offered to settle Fashek’s medical bills.
Majek Fashek is best known for his 1988 chart-topping song, ‘Send Down the Rain.’ At the peak of his career, the singer was one of the most popular African entertainers, before he faded out of the scene.
Though many believe his career crashed due to drug addiction, Majek Fashek maintained it was a spiritual problem.
