NASOWS to hold leadership summit

The National Association of Social Work Students, university of Ilorin branch is set to hold it’s maiden leadership summit on Monday, 28 January.

The leadership summit as gathered is part of a 3-day program themed SOW ACE week. The ACE week is to feature academics and career talks of which reputable social workers would be invited to speak on specific topics with regards to how the students can be self employed even before graduation.

The president; Akande Ismail in his words said, the programme is specially organised for all students who have considered service to humanity as core, as it is what social work is about. Furthermore, the summit would help the students get food on their table while they serve humanity.

The one week program will also feature film show ‘entertainment galore’ for its students, as well as, a trainning on Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) with a token fee of #500 according to the president.

SOW ACE week slated to commence on Monday, 28th January will be rounded up with a picnic at Bekandims poolside, Tanke OkeOdo on Saturday, 2nd February, 2019.
