University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria

An alumnus of the University of Ilorin, Mr. Abdulazeez Sodiq with NYSC State Code, PL/18C/0850, has donated a borehole project as his contribution to the development of his host community in Plateau State. He executed the project at Mal-Shida, Kunga Rigizah Community of Jos-North Local Government. 

Abdulazeez graduated with First Class honors in Marketing from the University of Ilorin. He currently serves at the Department of Marketing in the University of Jos, Jos-Nigeria. 

A report has it that the corps member is the Director of Publicity II of Care and Compassion Network, which is a registered charity based non-governmental organization with a mandate to provide help to the needy and alleviate poverty in Nigeria. The report added that his reason for executing the project is to improve his emotional well-being through positive feelings and sense of commitment to humanity. 

It was also gathered that he went round with an Appeal Fund Card, begging people from street-to-street for donations towards the project while the major sponsorship was facilitated by one Professor Yushau Balarabe. 

The project was commissioned on July 24th, 2019 by NYSC officials in the state.
