Sen. Bagbansoro becomes Senate council Chief Whip

Senator Uthman Bagbansoro of the faculty of Environmental Sciences has been appointed as the chief whip of the Unilorin Senate council.

The appointment was made by the president of the council, Senator Jesunifemi on Saturday 24th of November at the second ordinary plenary sitting of the council.

The appointment was however formalised by the two-thirds resolution of the floor members.

Senator Bagbansoro’s appointment took an immediate effect after sworn in by the deputy Senate president, Senator Mustapha Kaosar.
