The Disability Law Advocacy Project (DLAP), under the auspices of the department of Jurisprudence and International Law, University of Ilorin, is set to hold a three-day capacity building workshop on grant management and disability rights at Osogbo, the capital city of the State of Osun.
The event is scheduled to commence from 31st January to 2nd February, 2020 at the Ideal Nest Hotels, Ring Road, Osogbo.
One of the cardinal objectives of the event is to equip participants with core ideas, strategies and procedures designed to enhance their capacity towards addressing the issues relating to the rights of persons with disability in Nigeria.
UCJ Unilorin can confirm that the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) is the official sponsor of the forthcoming event to be hosted by the Head of Department, Dr. J.O. Olatoke, SAN.
Several high-profile personalities and legal luminaries have been confirmed to facilitate the eight-fold panel sessions of the training programme. These include: Prof. A.A. Oba, Prof. W.O. Egbewole SAN, Prof. N.M. Abdulraheem, Mr. G.C. Odo, Mr. D. Onwe, and Prof. M.A. Etudaiye.
Others include: Associate Professors L.A. Ayinla and E.F. Owolabi, Drs. A.C. Onuora-Oguno and O.I. Niyi-Gafar.
